Muslim persecution of Christians throughout the
Middle East is on the rise and many human rights experts say the West is
not doing enough to stop it.
Christian World News spoke with two men who are
working to raise awareness of the issue and help their government take
steps to defend religious freedom worldwide.
Rev. Majed El Shafie is an Egyptian who became a
Christian at age 18 and started a ministry to Muslims. He was arrested,
imprisoned, and beaten for his work.
El Shafie later fled the country and found asylum in Canada. He now heads the human rights group, One Free World International.
